The larger town of Witheridge is located three miles away. It is situated 11 miles north of Crediton and 10 miles west of Tiverton. Witheridge supports an inn, a post office, shops, doctors surgery, a parish hall and an historic parish church. It is on a regular bus route between Exeter and Barnstaple stopping at Tiverton and South Molton. The M5 motorway can be easily accessed from Witheridge via Tiverton and the link road.
