No Chain! This Grade II Listed cottage is found in a rural village setting and enjoys two double bedrooms and an upstairs bathroom, plus south facing gardens and off road parking for 2 cars

Situated in a lovely rural location this Grade II Listed thatched cottage adjoins the beautifully maintained churchyard of St Marys Church, West Worlington. It has recently been redecorated inside and out, is fitted with contemporary electric storage heaters and is offered with no onward chain.

The property has a separate entrance hall, an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, a study/storage area, two spacious double bedrooms, bathroom and large landing.

The open plan period beamed living area is a good size and enjoys a large illuminated, stone inglenook fireplace with bressumer beam over and brick hearth, a wood burning effect electric stove and lighted bread oven. The spacious dining area adjoins the kitchen and separate archways lead to the study/storage area and stairs. The stairway, with window overlooking the churchyard, opens onto a period timbered landing. The landing accesses the two spacious double bedrooms both having period beams and one with a pretty closed off stone fireplace with bressumer beam. The separate bathroom with white suite enjoys views from the window looking out to the church. It has an airing cupboard, a lagged water tank, immersion heater and electric wall heater. From the landing the extraordinary, fully insulated loft space is accessed by a loft ladder. It has electric light connected.

Please see the floorplan for room sizes.

Outside cobbled steps lead through the front garden which sets the cottage back from the road and a small cobbled area adjoins the cobbled pathway leading to the archway accessing the church. A short distance from the cottage is parking for 2 cars and a part stone, part rendered, timber clad outbuilding provides secure storage space. The outbuilding has power, light and water connected. From the parking area a path leads to the secluded south facing garden which is mainly laid to lawn with flower beds and borders, and a summerhouse which offers a lovely peaceful spot from which to enjoy the stunning countryside and delightful rural views.
