Description

A substantial family home standing in private gardens of approximately two thirds of an acre with stunning views.
This mature semi-detached home has evolved over the years, having been substantially extended as successive owners made the most of the wonderful plot and the breathtaking views.

Accommodation
The entrance door opens into a hallway where there is a cloakroom and a very useful utility/laundry room. The brand new refitted kitchen really is the hub of the house and has plenty of room for a generous table in the centre of the room. It is well fitted with a comprehensive range of contemporary units, incorporating appliances. The dining room provide a conservatory style element and there are two sets of doors opening out onto the large garden. The generous sitting room provides a cosy TV area in front of the open fire, together with a more formal sitting area plus double doors out to the garden. The original hallway leads to the Study/Family Room and has the staircase to the first floor.

On the first floor there is a great master suite, which has a large en suite shower room, together with doors opening out onto a wide balcony with panoramic views across miles of open countryside. There are three further double bedrooms, plus a family bathroom.

Outside
The property is approached via a gravel driveway providing ample parking and leading to the Double Garage. Adjacent to the driveway is the Barn/office, which has light and power.

The gardens are a delight, laid predominantly to lawn with well stocked flower beds and borders, together with numerous herbaceous shrubs and bushes. Dotted around the plot are a range of fruit trees offering apples, pears and other fruits, adding to the magic of this wonderful garden. The wide paved terrace is slightly raised to make the most of the outstanding backdrop of open countryside. Having been relaid in the last few years, future vendors would be perfectly positioned to take in the extradordinary views from the patio.
