However the house was built in1900 and was in need of an update so we remodelled and refurbished the property throughout from the this property designed entrance gates to the beautiful kitchen, but retained a number of period features to keep the original character of the house. We also put tarmac on the private road from Kingsgate Avenue to outside our house. This property has been a wonderful family home but we feel the time has come for us to downsize. The location is great as we are only a short stroll from the clifftops and blue flag beach at Botany Bay and not far away is the quiet Kingsgate Bay or Joss Bay for surfing and paddle boarding. We are within walking distance of the North Foreland Golf club for golfing enthusiasts and if you want a drink or a meal without having to take the car out there is the Botany Bay hotel or the Captain Digby restaurant.
