Woodcote is a very popular Oxfordshire village, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is at the edge of the Chiltern Hills with some outstanding views across the Oxfordshire plain and with many footpaths and bridle ways through the fields and beech woods that are typical of this countryside. The village is a thriving community with several shops, excellent primary and secondary schools (Langtree), an enlarged health centre, pubs, restaurant and village hall and community centre.
