Location Southdowns Park is a sought after development on the southern side of Haywards Heath, close by to the Princess Royal Hospital and a location for buyers to get excited about. The gardens and grounds are quite stunning with numerous seating areas, courtyards and a designated barbecue area which can be booked for resident's sole use and private functions. The annual service charge covers all water rates, membership to the state of the art gymnasium, upkeep of the gardens, grounds and contributions towards the sinking fund for future expenditure. Also within the complex there is the St Francis Social Club with its bar restaurant and club house, sports grounds, tennis courts and there is an independently run 18 meter indoor swimming pool which residents can use on a pay per visit basis. The location of Southdowns Park on the southern side of Haywards Heath is excellent. The A272 bypass connects you to Cuckfield and out onto the A23 without the need to pass through the town. The countryside is not far from your front door, National Trust facilities are located locally at Wakehurst Place and Nymans Gardens, with Sheffield Park less than 15 minutes by road. Pretty villages surround the town and include Lindfield, Cuckfield, Ardingly and Wivelsfield Green. Brighton can be found 15 miles to the south, whilst a short drive north takes you to Crawley, London Gatwick and the A/M23. Haywards Heath is a major stopping point on the mainline London to Brighton line where connecting trains to London Bridge and Victoria are under an hour and Brighton within 20 minutes.
