A deceptively spacious detached bungalow, set within a generous and secluded plot, with a superb detached outbuilding and situated in a sought-after location in Whitstable. The property has been significantly extended over the years and now offers extensive and highly versatile accommodation.

The property is entered via a UPVC double glazed front door, which opens into a long, central entrance hall. To the right of the entrance hall, there is a pleasant sitting room with an exposed brick chimney breast with an open fire. From here a door leads to a study/bedroom.

To the left of the entrance hall, there is a large double bedroom, a family bathroom and a separate cloakroom. There are a further two double bedrooms, with the main bedroom being a particularly good size double room, with a dressing area with contemporary fitted sliderobes and an en-suite shower room. This has been tastefully fitted with a modern and stylish white suite and finished with attractive ceramic tiling.

To the rear of the property, there is a well appointed kitchen/breakfast room. This has been fitted with an excellent range of modern wall and floor units, set around granite effect work surfaces and a range of appliances including an American style fridge/freezer and a Stoves range cooker. The kitchen is further complemented by a useful utility room with plumbing for white goods.

The property is set back from the road behind a long front garden, which is laid to lawn, whilst two driveways provide parking for numerous vehicles.

The rear garden measures approximately 70 ft and is mainly laid to lawn, with a large area of raised decking, ideal for outdoor entertaining. There is a timber shed for storage and at the bottom of the garden, there is a superb brick built detached outbuilding with a wood burning stove and power connected. With a small amount of renovation, this would be ideal as a home office, a hobby room or even a guest annexe.

The property is conveniently situated in a quiet residential road on the outskirts of Whitstable town centre, yet within easy reach of its mainline station and numerous amenities.

The popular seaside town of Whitstable is situated five miles north of the city of Canterbury and is famous for its seafood and annual Oyster Festival held at the vibrant harbour and picturesque quayside.

The town has a variety of independent shops and boutiques, as well as high street names. There are good local primary and secondary schools, numerous restaurants and excellent leisure facilities. It has its own mainline railway station with a high speed service to St Pancras, a regular Stagecoach bus service and good road links to London and the coast via A290/M2.

The nearby cathedral city of Canterbury is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, with a thriving city centre offering a wide array of High Street brands alongside a diverse mix of independent retailers, cafes and international restaurants. The city also offers a fine selection of sporting, leisure and recreational amenities, including the refurbished Marlowe Theatre.

Canterbury has an excellent choice of educational amenities, including three comprehensive schools, three Grammar schools and a number of well regarded junior and senior private schools. There are also three universities, two hospitals and two railway stations with a regular and fast service to London.

There is plenty of beautiful countryside nearby as well, including Wraik Hill Nature Reserve, Victory Woods Nature Reserve and Blean Woods. These have been designated as a national nature reserve and cover around 1257 acres of woodland and heath, with plenty of footpaths and bridleways throughout, making this an ideal setting for those who enjoy walking and outdoor pursuits.
