There is a mainline railway station with regular services to London Waterloo and the area is convenient for access onto the A36/M27 and the M3.

There is excellent walking, riding and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside of the New Forest. There is a selection of golf courses nearby including Hamptworth and Bramshaw and sailing opportunities abound on the South Coast and Spinnaker Lake in Blashford.

The property is approached through a 5-bar gate that opens to a generous driveway that runs to the front and side of the bungalow.
