Owners comments...
Wickford Way has been our family home for 34 years. It has been a wonderful home in a great location. It is hard to put a value on convenience but this location has it in abundance. In Walking distance to good schools, shops Doctors surgery and sports centre. Right next to a park. On the main bus route to Reading town centre and Royal Berkshire Hospital.
The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, children can play safely with no through traffic. There is a great community spirit with parties and annual BBQ with most neighbours joining in.
The loft conversation has had several uses as another bedroom, Cinema/games room and art studio with the front landing making a great office space. The bedrooms are a great size with plenty of storage space. The heart of this house has been the fantastic kitchen, practical for everyday eating and entertaining, leading out to a wonderful garden space that completes the summer experience of this special home.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents comments...
To say this house is quite possibly the perfect family home is not an understatement. Starting from the top down, there's a loft conversion which has created a huge space currently being used as an art studio with tonnes of natural light thanks to the Velux windows as well as plenty of storage and a big landing space to utilise as well. The first floor is home to three massive double bedrooms, with built in wardrobes to the two largest, and an extended en-suite to the main room. There's also a family bathroom and a really single as the fourth bedroom. The ground floor has everything you'd expect from a house of this size - garage, utility, downstairs loo, a big living room and a separate dining room. But the kitchen is, without doubt, our favourite part. In recent years it's been extended, there's a huge central island, and bi-fold doors on two sides making it seamlessly flow into a gorgeous tropical garden. There is so much to love here and the house is seriously impressive from its positioning to the detail inside, with so much more for us to show you when you come and have a look.

Having grown up nearby, we know how great it is here for families and dog walking with so many local parks and green spaces on the door step. Not only are you nicely nestled in a small cul-de-sac location but you have superb schools nearby and this makes it a real family area. You can walk to the main asda and Chalfont shopping complex in a few minutes, as well as bus stops, giving you easy access into Reading town.
