Tatham House is an established property with predominantly stone elevations, individually designed and subsequently extended to offer very generous single storey accommodation, with integral double garaging, the main entrance and utility on the lower ground level plus a small mezzanine study area. The property enjoys a good degree of flexibility in how the accommodation is utilised, and in our opinion is most tastefully appointed, the breakfast kitchen, en suite bathroom and house shower room having been refitted in recent times. There is double glazing to the windows of the principal accommodation, with gas central heating is installed. Most of the rooms have lovely aspects on to the principal landscaped garden which extends from the southern side of the property, though there are also distant views to scenic Dales countryside beyond the village. The gardens include a screen wall and are bounded by a variety of mature trees providing excellent privacy to this stunning property.

Airton is a small unspoilt village with a picturesque green and set on the banks of the River Aire, opposite the Pennine Way, amidst the much admired scenic countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Malham with its renowned landscaped features is within some two and a half miles, the village of Gargrave with shops and other amenities is approximately four and a half miles and the market towns of Settle and Skipton some six and nine miles respectively. There are excellent schooling facilities in both Skipton, Settle and Giggleswick Public School. Skipton has railway services to Leeds, Bradford and London. Many West Yorkshire and East Lancashire business centres are within reasonable commuting distance.
Entering Airton from the direction of Skipton and Gargrave, opposite the village green turn left at the signpost for Hellifield. Then after a short distance, turn left on to the first driveway leading to Tatham House.
