The property:

Step into this delightful two-bedroom property, where classic character meets contemporary style. The inviting living room boasts elegant faux paneling, creating the timeless charm of a period home.

The breakfast kitchen has been thoughtfully refitted to offer both style and practicality. Featuring sleek white gloss floor and wall cabinets, complemented by striking granite-effect roll-top work surfaces, it’s a modern and functional space. It opens onto the attractive paved terrace - the perfect spot for outdoor dining or morning coffee. Steps lead up to a part-walled garden beyond.

Upstairs, you’ll find two well-proportioned bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with a modern white suite with a power shower over the bath. Being end of terrace there is also a window on the landing that floods this space and the living room below with natural light.

Further benefits include gas central heating, double glazing throughout, and the added convenience of allocated off-street parking (see site plan for location).

This home is perfectly suited for first-time buyers, downsizers, or investors seeking a stylish, low-maintenance property in a desirable area that is a sensible commute from the City of Oxford.

Vale of White Horse (Council tax band C).

Situation:

Located in Berkshire until the county border alterations of 1974, Faringdon (meaning fern covered hill) is a charming town with a weekly market granted in 1218 and became the first Fairtrade Town in the South East of England in 2004. Strategically important during the civil war because of its commanding position in relation to Radcot Bridge, the town still bears the scars of the strife- the bell tower of All Saints being reduced in height in 1645 following cannon ball damage! It is one of several places of worship encompassing numerous denominations. The town has a good balance of large supermarkets and independent retailers as well as several thriving local societies, lending library and even a cinema.

The well-known 140 ft high Faringdon Folly lies to the east of the town and was constructed for the eccentric Lord Berners in the mid '30s. The local sports centre features an air-conditioned gymnasium, swimming pool and spa as well as squash courts. The nearby A420 links the town to the dreaming spires of Oxford and the retail and commercial centre of Swindon. Nearest mainline services to London Paddington from Swindon (c 13 miles; journey time to London 62 minutes) and Didcot Parkway (c 20 miles journey time c 44 minutes).

We are required by law to conduct anti-money laundering checks on all those selling or buying a property. Whilst we retain responsibility for ensuring checks and any ongoing monitoring are carried out correctly, the initial checks are carried out on our behalf by Lifetime Legal who will contact you once you have agreed to instruct us in your sale or had an offer accepted on a property you wish to buy. The cost of these checks is £75 (incl. VAT), which covers the cost of obtaining relevant data and any manual checks and monitoring which might be required. This fee will need to be paid by you in advance of us publishing your property (in the case of a vendor) or issuing a memorandum of sale (in the case of a buyer), directly to Lifetime Legal, and is non-refundable. We will receive some of the fee taken by Lifetime Legal to compensate for its role in the provision of these checks.
