The popular village of Ashurst Wood lies one mile north of Forest Row, on the East/West Sussex border, and is designated as a Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ashurst Wood has two local stores, popular butchers shop, two Inns, primary and pre school, all within one mile of the property.
