Property Details
Why the owner loves the property:
This has been a truly lovely place to live – we’re only moving because our little girl needs a garden. The apartment has been our perfect first home and we’ve looked after it with real care for the six years we’ve been here. Our allocated parking space is at the end of the row, so it’s easy to access and you’re not stuck between two cars. Being on the first floor is ideal – you have the option of stairs or the lift depending on what suits. Although the flat is above the main entrance, it’s incredibly peaceful. You don’t hear anyone coming or going, and even sitting on the balcony you never feel overlooked. The whole block is very well soundproofed. Communal areas are always clean and tidy – our cleaner comes twice a week and is lovely. The bin cupboard is well maintained and waste is collected regularly, including food recycling. Being in the last block of the development means we’re not affected by any of the noise that sometimes echoes around the other buildings. As a resident, you get discounted racecourse access – under £100 for the whole year, including music events. The view is pleasant too – the car park below is generally quiet and the trees are in full bloom for most of the year. We’ve always found it a peaceful, easy place to live and we’ll be sad to say goodbye.
