The Property

This beautifully presented two-bedroom terraced house has been thoughtfully transformed by its current owners, evolving with them from a couple to a family of four.

Tucked away on a quiet street just off Lewes Road, the immaculate exterior offers a glimpse of the stylish interior within. You’re welcomed into a bright hallway, where hardwood flooring flows seamlessly into the ground floor rooms. At the front of the home, the open-plan living and dining area is flooded with light from a large bay window. Decorated in soft neutral tones and centred around a charming feature fireplace, it's a warm and inviting space to relax or entertain.

To the rear, the modern kitchen is perfectly designed with navy shaker-style units, light wooden worktops, geometric floor tiles, and open shelving that adds character. Beyond the kitchen is a well-proportioned bathroom featuring textured herringbone tiles and elegant gold fixtures.

Upstairs, you'll find two bright and airy double bedrooms. The principal room, at the front, features attractive wall panelling and overlooks the quiet street. The second bedroom, facing the garden, is ideal as a guest room, nursery, or home office.

The garden has been recently landscaped with stylish new fencing, creating a private and low-maintenance outdoor retreat. A patio just off the dining room is perfect for morning coffee, while steps lead up to a raised deck that enjoys all-day sunshine. A garden shed provides useful storage.

A Note From The Owners

We originally bought the house because it had great potential—we were excited to renovate and significantly raise the standard throughout. What really drew us in, though, was the location. The peaceful road, generous garden, and friendly community—especially with other young families nearby—really appealed to us. Plus, the easy, ample on-street parking has always been a bonus.

The Area

Just off Lewes Road, this home enjoys a convenient location close to local amenities, including Aldi, Sainsbury’s, and a selection of pubs. The vibrant North Laine, known for its independent cafés and boutique shops, is around a 30-minute walk away. Though pleasantly set back from the city bustle, the area is far from remote—Brighton city centre is easily reached on foot in about 35 minutes. For outdoor lovers, Wild Park Local Nature Reserve is just half a mile away, while Stanmer Park, perfect for dog walks and runs, is only two miles from your doorstep.

Schools

Local primary schools include Coombe Road (0.2 miles) and St Joseph’s Catholic (1 mile). Local secondary schools include Varndean School (1.6 miles) and Dorothy Stringer (1.8 miles).

Transport Links

Located just off Lewes Road, this property is within a six-minute drive of the A27 and a ten-minute drive of the centre of Brighton. It is well connected by a regular bus service which will get you to the city centre in just twenty minutes. Gatwick Airport can be reached by car in half an hour, and Heathrow Airport in an hour and ten minutes. Moulsecoomb train station, with its links to Brighton and London, is half a mile away and can be reached on foot in ten minutes.
