A Big Two Bedroom Home With No Onward Chain!

Owners Comments...

The house has been perfect for us, after over a decade of London we wanted to be somewhere quieter, with the tucked away nature it really has been a home where we can unwind away from the noise of traffic and busyness of everyday life.

This house also served as a passion project taking it from a semi run down rental to what we feel is now a home.

Plus nothing beats a morning coffee with the back doors wide open enjoying the sun.

With so many great walkways and green spaces for us to enjoy it really has been the juxtaposition we needed especially.

Incredibly friendly neighbours, amenities in our doorstep and a man who owns an ice cream van 2 streets over if it wasn’t for emigrating to another country we would have no real desire to leave.

Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments...

This is a fantastic two bedroom home that’s bigger than your average two bed here, making it ideal for first-time buyers or those looking to upsize. This home is tucked away in a lovely, private spot with green space to the front. Downstairs, you’ll find a toilet and a kitchen at the front, perfectly positioned to take in views of the greenery. Across the back is a spacious lounge/diner that opens directly onto the garden which is great for entertaining or relaxing. From the garden, there’s rear access to your parking, which includes a car port—a brilliant bonus for a home of this size.

Upstairs, there are two big double bedrooms and a refitted family bathroom in the middle, all finished to a high standard so you can simply unpack and settle in. Bedroom 2, at the front, features lovely shutters, a fitted wardrobe, and overlooks the green space. Bedroom 1, at the back, includes built in wardrobes, an additional freestanding wardrobe, and a modern en suite.

With no onward chain, this home is sure to be popular so get in touch to arrange your viewing!

Area Comments...

Three Mile Cross gets its name from its location—just three miles south of Reading along the old Basingstoke Road. It’s a charming rural village, split by the A33 (Basingstoke–Reading road), and is recognised as an area of special character. Perfectly positioned close to Junction 11 of the M4, it’s a great spot for commuters and those wanting easy access to surrounding areas. The village itself offers a few handy amenities, including a Budgens convenience store and the Swan Pub, both just a short walk away. You’re also close to Shinfield and Lower Earley, which provide even more shops, pubs, and everyday essentials. For bigger shopping trips, you’re well-placed for both Wokingham’s bustling market town and Reading’s Oracle Shopping Centre. Public transport is easily accessible too, with Mereoak Park & Ride just around the corner and the new Green Park train station offering a direct route into London, making commuting easier than ever.
