Sellers Opinion
I bought this property as a new build (the Archford by David Wilson Homes) for several reasons - spacious rooms and a south facing garden, and plenty of storage which you don’t always get with new build properties. This was one of the few Archford designed as a semi rather than a terrace which also meant it was better value for money.
The estate is small and also with it being on a small cul de sac it’s really secure and you don’t get any traffic passing by. The garage not only offers additional storage (enough space in there to add loft space as well), but because it’s attached to the house it means the garden is entirely secure, which is added piece of mind if you have pets or children.
The garden is now well developed and I upgraded the patio and added a decking area which is great to sit in on summer evenings Unlike a lot of new builds properties, it’s not overlooked by the houses behind.
I added the higher spec kitchen, which is still in great condition, and I also added a shower over the bath in the main bathroom which you won’t get as standard in most new builds from the same house builder.
It’s a great home for first time buyers and young families, and in the catchment area for Molescroft Primary school which is rated excellent by Ofsted.
