I purchased this home nearly two years ago as first time buyer and it has been everything I wished and hoped for. The location has been ideal with quick routes into Reading, Wokingham, Basingstoke and London by train, bus or car. I’ve loved the friendly neighbourhood and the peaceful nature of Caribou Walk, it really has a sense of community which I quickly integrated into. The area is calm and quiet. The community offers great local amenities with a convenience store, pub and Church within walking distance. The surroundings are very green and beautiful with scenic woodland and field walking routes. The flat is south facing and is sunny all day, it is a very light and warming property throughout. The open-plan kitchen and large living room is great for cooking, entertaining and a night in. There is plenty of generous storage space in the large entrance hallway, including an airing cupboard and integrated shoe rack. The flat is very spacious with high ceilings which create a sense of openness. It has a large master bedroom, which can easily fit a king size bed and other furniture. The flat also comes with the best allocated parking space on the end next to greenery. I will deeply miss this home and I hope it brings as much joy to the next owner as it has to me!

Firstly I need to comment on the location. Mitford Fields is such a great spot. I lived here between 2018 and 2022 and I loved every minute of it. You can walk to Budgens supermarket and The Swan pub easily. On top of that, you can reach the nearby Farriers Arms pub and Waring's bakery with ease. Transport-wise, Three Mile Cross has a regular bus service into Reading town centre and you can be on the M4 motorway within five minutes. Additionally, you have your pick of many local train stations including Reading, Earley, Winnersh, Mortimer, Twyford and the newly-opened Green Park station.
The home itself is truly special. It is on the top floor of a three-storey building so it is easily accessible. The front of the building overlooks a lovely play park making it a great setting. To the rear, you will have one allocated parking space which is arguably the best parking space out of the apartments in the building. What I love most is the amount of natural light that the property benefits from as it has a south-west aspect. The master bedroom is a great size allowing space for a king-size bed, wardrobe and desk with ease. The bathroom has been excellently maintained by the seller to a really high standard. The show-stopper is the living area which is the same size as the living area you find in most two-bedroom apartments so you wont be short of room! Like the bathroom, the kitchen is also is superb condition with separate flooring to the living area giving a degree of separation. This property was built in 2014 but you wouldn't think it given the calibre of condition internally!
