This beautifully presented property was built in 2023, in an enclave of four similar detached properties on a private road adjacent to The Street in Bossingham. The exterior of the property has traditional timber cladding, attractive brickwork and flint inserts and there is a contemporary carport incorporating two storage rooms and a large resin driveway for off road parking. Internally features include coved ceilings, oak doors, an oak and glass balustraded staircase, porcelanosa ceramic tiling and hard wearing flooring.
The spacious entrance hall includes a modern cloakroom and a walk-in store cupboard as well as open access to the dining area with a large picture window offering delightful rural views across. An archway leads to the attractive, dual aspect living room that features a sculptured ceiling with mood lighting, a striped wood wall feature and French doors to the rear terrace. There is also a concealed fireplace that could be opened up.
The superb kitchen/breakfast room also has French doors to the terrace, shaker style units with quartz worktops housing upmarket appliances and a large central island/breakfast bar. The adjacent utility room has similar fitted units and stand-alone laundry facilities as well as a back door to the bin store.
The landing includes a large picture window and a systems control cupboard and provides access to the family bathroom and five double bedrooms with delightful views. Currently one is used as a walk-in dressing room, another is an office with fitted cupboards, while a third is a charming dual aspect snug. The dual aspect guest double bedroom has a trendy ensuite wet room and the principal suite has a discreetly hidden walk-in wardrobe/dressing area, built in cupboards and an ensuite wet room.
The rear garden wraps round to the side of the property and is laid to lawn with a large terrace and backs onto fields.
What the Owner says:
We love living in a characterful modern house where it is quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, due to business commitments, we have to move. Bossingham is a friendly village and nestles in the midst of an aonb. The good Stelling Minnis primary school is nearby and there are plenty of places to go for walks including the famous Minnis.
We are not far from Stelling Minnis with its convenience store, pub and historic windmill and there is easy access to Folkestone and Dover while a regular bus service runs through the village. Nearby Lower Hardres includes an excellent farm shop and the Granville pub and restaurant and you can dine in style at The Pig, The Tiger Inn, The Kings Arms, The Duck and The Five Bells Inn, all within a short drive.
There are numerous sports clubs including golf clubs in the vicinity and the Bursted Manor riding centre with off road riding in the 440 acres of Lyminge forest.
It is only a few miles from Canterbury with its historic buildings, first class grammar and private schools, high street stores, independent shops, theatres, universities, bars and restaurants and two stations with the fast train from Canterbury West whisking you to St Pancras in less than an hour.
