*****Inviting Offers Between £450,000 - £465,000*****🏡 A Note from the Homeowner
We moved here because of the brilliant school options – being in Priority 1 catchment for both Reading Boys’ and Kendrick School was a big factor for us. The area itself really sealed the deal. It’s a peaceful, safe community, and from day one, we were made to feel welcome by our neighbours.
Since being here, this home has been a calm, happy space for our family. We’ve really appreciated the flexibility/opportunity it offered – especially with so many of the neighbouring homes already extended. There’s clear potential here to grow the property to suit changing needs, whether that’s extending outwards or building upwards (subject to planning).
We’ve also invested in key upgrades to make the house ready for the next chapter – a full electrical rewire, a brand new energy-efficient boiler (now located in the garage), a modern consumer unit ready for an EV charger, and a beautifully refurbished four-piece bathroom suite.
The reason we’re moving is that our son has secured a place at a fantastic school over to the west of London, and we’re relocating to be closer. This decision has been bittersweet – we’ll genuinely miss the quiet, the green space, and the wonderful community around us.
We hope the next family finds as much joy in this home as we have.⭐ Alex’s Best Bits
The garden is mature and full of colour, and there’s a private spot tucked away at the far end – perfect for a garden office, studio, or just a peaceful place to retreat to.
The garage gives great options for conversion – whether you’re after a home gym, workspace, or something more.
Highwood Nature Reserve, Palmer Park, and Thames Valley Business Park are all nearby – brilliant if you like to walk, decompress or stay active.
You’re well-connected – the M4 and A329 are easy to access, the number 17 bus is around 10 minutes’ walk, and Earley station is just over a mile away if you want to head into London or Reading.
Woodley town centre is walkable in 20 minutes – perfect for a quick coffee, errands or lunch out.📲 Interested?
