About this property
" We’ve absolutely loved living at 6 Fitzroy Street with our growing family over the past four and a half years, and we’re really sad to be leaving. The street is so quiet and has a real community feel – everyone’s friendly and looks out for each other, which has made it such a lovely place to call home. The location’s been amazing too – Arnos Vale Cemetery is right on the doorstep, Perrett’s Park is just a short walk away and perfect for watching the balloons during the Balloon Fiesta, and Redcatch Park has a brilliant little community café. Wells Road also has some great local spots – Bruhaha is perfect for a good beer, and there are plenty of handy shops and places to eat nearby "
Fitzroy Street is placed to the east of Totterdown and adjacent to the beautiful Arnos Vale Cemetery. This quiet street has the best of both worlds, with a fantastic array of cafes, restaurants and independent shops on Wells Road, as well as the open green spaces of South Bristol. Places on Wells Road, such as Fox & West, an independent cafe and greengrocers selling a diversity of local produce, Bank, Totterdown Canteen and Farrow’s Fish & Chips offer some of the best options in the city. Green spaces are in plentiful supply, with Arnos Vale being an idyllic Victorian garden cemetery with the Cleverchefs cafe at its heart, the incredible views of Perrett Park, as well as the 50 acres of Victoria Park. Totterdown offers easy access to and from the city, with Bath Road offering an easy link to Bath, the Portway taking you to the M5 and the M32 to the M4 and beyond. Temple Meads Train Station is also a short walk or cycle away, offering connections nationally. Traveling southwards, you find yourself in the Mendips, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
A semi detached house with really spacious light rooms is available for sale on Fitzroy Street. There is a separate reception room at the front of the property with elevated bay window and log burner. The middle room is wider tan your average house and feels lovely and roomy with space for dining and casual seating and there is a galley kitchen at the rear. Upstairs are two great sized double bedrooms and a bathroom with claw footed stand alone bath. The rear garden is very private with a deck on the lower level and a secluded seating area with lawn at the top.
