Most of this local area provides excellent walking, riding and country pursuits with a lot of the land in ownership of the National Trust. Hankley and Frensham Commons are particularly attractive as well as Alice Holt Forest which is situated south of Farnham. Golf is available at Hindhead, West Surrey and Hankley Common all offering excellent courses.
