Owners comments...
Our bungalow has been a treasured family home since 1979. Purchased by my parents when the property was just five years old, it has been the heart of our family for generations—a place filled with warmth, love, and countless happy memories.
Growing up here was a joy. Surrounded by nature, with the beautiful Woodland and Sulham Woods just a short cycle away, it was the perfect backdrop for childhood adventures, especially during long summer holidays. The quiet, safe surroundings made it an idyllic place to grow up, and it remains a wonderful setting for children to thrive.
Over the years, the home has been passed down to me, and my daughter and young grandchildren have also shared in the joy of this special place, adding their own happy memories to its story. Now, as we prepare to pass it on, we do so with full hearts—taking the memories with us and offering this home to a new family, ready to write the next chapter.
Area comments...
Chapel Hill is ideally located in a quiet yet convenient spot close to the heart of Tilehurst. Just a short walk to the village triangle, with excellent access to Reading town centre, the M4 motorway, and Tilehurst train station. There are great local bus routes and, for those who enjoy the outdoors, Sulham Woods is nearby — perfect for weekend walks and exploring.
Ryan & Sanjay’s comments...
This is such a great spot — tucked away and private, yet so well connected to everything. The layout works really well, with all the bedrooms to one side and living areas to the other. The hallway has just been redecorated with new carpets, giving it a fresh and welcoming feel as you walk in. The converted garage gives you that extra living space too, and with the size of the plot, there’s massive potential to extend, reconfigure or simply landscape to create something really special.
