Torquay 2 miles, known for its bustling harbour area with numerous restaurants, bars etc, Teignmouth 2 miles, Babbacombe 2 miles, all offering their own opportunities for dining, sailing, fishing, seaside activities. There are nine beaches within the bay, all with their own unique beauty.
We are in close proximity to the vibrant city of Exeter, Exeter Airport, the M5, and train links from Exeter to London in two hours.
Whilst the current owner has been at Bowden House she opened up a Cafe (with alcohol license) on site in an old unused brick built structure which proved very successful and popular with the locals and hikers, we served cream teas with a cheeky glass of prosecco, yummy cakes and sandwiches, and served the best coffee around apparently. (currently closed) and would be welcomed by a lot of people if it were to be opened again.
There are lots of opportunities for development STPP.
Seller's Comments:
I consider it an absolute priviledge to have been fortunate enough to be the keeper of such a beautiful magical property and over the last nine years I have met the most wonderful people from all over the world who chose to spend their holiday time with us here at Bowden House, some have remained great friends and come back time and time again, it has been a real honour in so many respects.
