I’ll be very sorry to see this house go — it’s been in our family for many years and holds a lot of happy memories. I lived here as a child and always loved how easy it was to walk into the centre of Swanland. My parents enjoyed being able to stroll down to The Swan or The Cygnet, and we often headed out for countryside walks straight from the door. The garden gets the sun from morning through to evening, and it’s been a brilliant place for gatherings and celebrations over the years. It’s always felt like a very social home. But now it’s time for its next chapter, and I hope the new owners will enjoy it as much as we have.
