The Property:

The house is located in a particularly secluded, yet extremely central position in the centre of Alresford, available exclusively to those over the age of 55. Pear Tree Cottage is perfectly positioned for access to the eclectic shopping facilities in the town centre, which is just a short walk away accessible via a direct and secure gate to West Street.

The front door is on the lower ground level, and opens to a spacious hallway, where there is a door to the integral garage. The upper ground floor is home to a lovely sitting room which takes advantage of the property's unique curvature, creating a stunning semi-circular room, with twin sets of French doors to the garden. There is a modern fitted kitchen with granite worksurfaces and integral appliances, the kitchen opens directly to the dining room. Folding doors from the dining room open to the lovely conservatory, which is located on the south side of the house and has French doors to the garden.

Upstairs, the principal bedroom sits above the sitting room so enjoys the semi-circular space and has fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. The two further bedrooms both have built-in wardrobes and are served by the family bathroom.

Outside, the south-facing garden is designed to be low-maintenance, with central paving and small beds. There is a garden shed and outside tap and a gate in the wall leads to the top of the driveway and the visitors' parking area, from where a secure gate allows access to Bakehouse Yard and through to West Street in the town centre.
