We are delighted to offer to the market for the first time since the house was built in 1977. This was the former Show Home for the builders Messers. Western Estates Ltd. And is a detached 3 bedroom bungalow on a good size plot. The property requires updating & improvement. There is bags of potential here and the most wonderful view of Woolacombe Bay and the ocean beyond. Ring us for full details.
This is the very first time this detached bungalow comes to the market since its construction in 1977. The property has the original fittings and, due to the passing of considerable time, now requires modernisation and improvement. However, this will appeal to those who are looking for a 'blank canvass' project upon which they can develop, extend (sub pp) and improve to their own requirements and tastes. Therefore, we recommend a viewing to appreciate what the property has to offer.
The property stands to the bottom of Chichester Park where it meets Springfield Road and it is an easy walk to the beach and the village amenities. Although the property requires work, it is livable. There is gas central heating (not tested) and part UPVc, part aluminium and part secondary double glazing. The rooms are well proportioned and flow easily. The bungalow is elevated with steps up to the entrance storm porch. The views from the property are quite superb over the village to the beach, Morte Bay, Baggy Point and onto the ocean beyond.
The double aspect living room has a balcony which takes full advantage of the view. The gas fire has a back boiler which feeds the heating & water. There has been water ingress to the ceiling. The kitchen is also double aspect and has a door to the side. The original kitchen units have a double drainer sink: Beyond which is the view, which makes the washing up much less of a chore! There are 3 double bedrooms, bathroom and separate WC.
The property has off road parking/ drive to the large integral garage. The property sits on a good size plot which is mainly laid to lawn. It requires some cultivation and plenty of space to extend the accommodation. To one side is a generous patio area, which also takes advantage of the views. This area cries out to be developed for further accommodation. Here, the boundary extends beyond the patio itself, so there is a good area to take advantage of.
This is a great opportunity and we recommend a viewing to fully appreciate what the property has to offer.
Note: All references to possible extension/ development, are subject to attaining the necessary planning permission.
