Stylish two-bedroom terraced home with garden and parking potential on national avenue
Summary:
This well-presented two-bedroom terraced house on national avenue is an ideal choice for first time buyers. The property is in excellent condition throughout, with a modern kitchen, spacious living room, and a sunny rear garden. With easy access to hull city centre, mkm stadium, cottingham, and kingswood, this home is perfectly placed for both work and leisure. There’s no work required—simply move in and enjoy.
Our Thoughts:
Front courtyard is smart and low maintenance, with the option to drop the kerb for off-street parking if needed. Inside, the entrance hall leads to a bright and inviting living room, complete with a feature chimney breast and a lovely bay window. The kitchen at the rear is fresh and modern, with plenty of space for a dining table, making it a great spot for everyday meals or entertaining friends. The back door opens onto a patio area, with a handy brick-built utility cupboard, and then onto a lawn that catches the sun. There’s also hard standing at the end of the garden, which could be modified for parking. Upstairs, the main bedroom runs the full width of the house and includes a fitted wardrobe, while the second double bedroom and a smart, modern bathroom complete the layout. This is a straightforward, move-in ready home that I think will make someone very happy.
Owners Thoughts:
We’ve really enjoyed living here, especially how easy it is to get into the city or out to Cottingham and Kingswood. The living room is a great space to relax, and the kitchen has been perfect for cooking and having friends over. The garden gets plenty of sunshine, and we’ve loved spending time outside in the warmer months. The house itself has always felt comfortable and easy to look after. We hope the next owners will enjoy it as much as we have.

What Contract Ready Means for You — the Buyer
When a seller is Contract Ready, it means all the key legal documents are prepared before a sale is agreed — so everything’s ready to go as soon as the offer is accepted.
This includes:
Searches (already ordered and available)
Proof of ownership and authority to sell
Seller’s Property Information Forms (TA6, TA10)
Draft contract of sale
Your solicitor is usually sent the full legal pack within 48 hours, so they can get to work immediately.
How this helps you:
Saves an average of 3–4 weeks in delays
Reduces the number of enquiries going back and forth
Speeds up the whole chain and gives you a stronger position
Lowers the risk of the sale falling through
Gives your solicitor the full picture from day one
The cost is £390, which includes the searches. In most cases, your solicitor will make an appropriate deduction from their own fee, so the actual cost to you is usually less than £200.
