I first got the keys in December 2019 just a few months before Covid hit. Even though the world had practically come to a standstill and we were all adapting to a new 'norm' I quickly settled into my new home.

My brand new apartment is a great space and slowly but surely I made it feel like home. Having my own front door access really appealed to me and I hadn’t seen any other places like it! I love the location of the apartment mainly due to the beautiful open countryside right on my doorstep too! There are many walks in the area which is a big bonus.

I am within walking distance of a Budgens supermarket, a post office and a garage that offers mot's instead of having to drive miles to find one. Lucky enough too to have a short 5 minute drive to an Aldi and Costco. There is a great bus service into town and it is right by the m4 for the commute to work. I do feel I have a lot within reach as well feeling totally spoilt living amongst the peace and quiet of the countryside.

It's sad that the time has now come to move on. It's bittersweet to be leaving so many happy memories however i'm ready to start an exciting new chapter creating new memories.

We love this one - it’s got its own private entrance, so it feels more like walking into a house than a flat. The finish is fantastic and it’s been pristinely maintained throughout. Inside, you’ve got a massive lounge/kitchen that runs from front to back, it’s a seriously impressive open-plan space. On the opposite side, there’s a big double bedroom and a huge family bathroom (honestly, it’s bigger than most!).

The hallway has three separate storage cupboards, so plenty of room to keep things tidy. Add in allocated parking plus lots of visitor spaces and you’ve got a home that really ticks the boxes.

Area Comments...

Three Mile Cross is a fantastic location that perfectly balances the best of both worlds; with picturesque countryside walks just moments away, it’s easy to forget that Reading town centre is only a short drive away. The village offers a variety of local amenities including Budgens a short walk away and is home to well-regarded schools, making it an ideal choice for families. Commuters will appreciate the excellent transport connections, including the Mereoak Park & Ride, easy access to the A33 and Junction 11 of the M4, and the nearby Green Park Business District with its new train link, ensuring easy travel to London.
