Transport. Amenities include school, church, restaurants, a selection of village inns, a
bakery, tea rooms and a cafe. Located partway between the riverside market town of
Wareham (5 miles) and the seaside resort of Swanage (6 miles) which both offer a further
range of shopping facilities including a Sainsburys supermarket and a mainline station
to London Waterloo. The nearby village of Studland ( 4 miles ) has plenty of car parks giving access to its fantastic long sandy beach and a chain ferry link to Sandbanks and Poole. There are many delightful walks close by and the Swanage and Wareham steam railway giving services between Corfe, Harmans Cross and Swanage. Other family attractions include a model village, the village museum, famous steam railway, many interesting shops, and historic connections to Enid Blyton and the Famous Five.
