The owners love ….
When we first viewed this property, we were blown away by the size throughout and generous driveway – we instantly felt at home and fell in love with the tranquil nestling feel in the tucked away location with no passing traffic and the adjacent open field. We knew there and then this would be our ideal home and it truly hasn’t let us down! We still love all it has to offer…
Upon entering is the sizeable driveway with ample parking for up to 6 cars which is ideal for when friends or family come to visit. We have added a gate here leading to the open field which is marvellous to just enjoy the nature, fresh air & providing access to the local secondary school & small park area.
Through the front door you enter the welcoming hallway, muted relaxed décor and a sense of calm as soon as you enter. We have recently redecorated with Farrow & Ball paint and complemented with new stair/landing carpet.
We have a home office which we use for our work from home days, separate to our living and entertaining space, but this could be used as a home gym, playroom or even an additional bedroom – it is entirely up to you.
There is a downstairs WC.
Our lounge is spacious & bright but still oozes that homely comforting feel. We love nothing more than all relaxing on the sofa and enjoying our movie nights as a family.
Our kitchen/family room is truly the heart of this home. We removed the dividing wall to create a generous well-equipped kitchen, contemporary in design, with the dining and family area adjacent. We have created many fond memories here as a family and hosting our friends over the years. It is light, calm and gives a real sense of luxury.
During our time here, we have also added our conservatory, to increase our living space which we have very much enjoyed – we can enjoy views over the garden all year around.
Outside is the large private enclosed rear garden. We have our patio area, a decked area for additional seating and our lounge area perfect to relax and soak up the sunshine. The barbeques in the summer are truly amazing, having all this relaxing space with the sound of bird’s song in the distance.
Leading upstairs you will find our master bedroom with a beautiful en-suite. We have a further three good size bedrooms and our family bathroom. The configuration of this home has a wonderful flow.
Our home nestles in the very sought after area of Saxon Gate in Biggleswade, offering exclusivity and peace. We have Biggleswade Retail Park close by offering shopping, supermarkets, as well as places to eat. We have the wonderful Shuttleworth estate, a local gem offering the beautiful Swiss garden, the renowned collection of vintage aircraft & vehicles a real treat. There are lots of local activities and attractions for children and families in general. We are well placed with trains to London in under 40 minutes and easy access to the A1. There is a real sense of community here and we feel privileged to be a part of it.
Viewing highly recommended!
Agents’ opinion – wow! When I first stepped foot into this property I didn’t want to leave. It was so relaxing and like visiting a show home. The sellers have taken great care with the décor and home improvements to give one truly amazing house. You must come and see for yourselves, and I look forward to showing you around!
