Location - Haslingfield
Haslingfield is a historic parish village located in the picturesque Cambridgeshire countryside, 6 miles southwest of Cambridge and 9 miles northeast of Royston.
The Anglican All Saints’ Church has remained almost unaltered since the 12th Century and has been a place of regular worship all this time. Today, the community is welcome to attend main Sunday services each week alongside many other activities and events for the family. There is also a very active Methodist Church, offering a range of activities throughout the week.
Haslingfield benefits from a village hall, a pub, a post office, a general store, a well-stocked delicatessen/butcher, a skateboard park, a well-regarded primary school, and a large recreation ground, complete with new children’s playground, tennis courts, football and cricket pitches. There are also many clubs and societies that cater for all interests and ages, including film, folk dance, gardening, pilates, and much more! The highly regarded Comberton Village College is also just a few miles away.
There are a number of train stations nearby, the closest being Foxton or Shepreth, both of which run services into London King’s Cross in approximately 70 minutes. Quicker services (approximately 50 minutes) run to King’s Cross from Royston.
If you’re looking to purchase in the area, we highly recommend the vibrant village of Haslingfield!
