Four Bedroom Semi Detached House For Sale
Located within great ashby which offers a selection of shops, businesses and comprehensive amenities. There is also excellent access to London via the A1 junction 7 or 8 and the Stevenage station which provides access to Kings Cross.
Sellers View -This is a home where families grow, neighbours become friends, and a sense of calm greets you the moment you step inside. We love the layout – walking into the hallway, with the kitchen diner to the right and the living room to the left, instantly feels welcoming. A downstairs WC, tucked neatly beneath the stairs, is a practical touch that’s especially handy when hosting. The kitchen diner easily accommodates a six-seater table while still offering generous worktop space, plenty of cupboards, and built-in appliances. Flooded with natural light, this room feels spacious and is perfect for family meals and entertaining.
The living room is one of our favourite spaces, seamlessly connecting to the garden through bi-folding doors that open onto a decked area. We’ve spent countless evenings here, relaxing together and creating cherished family memories. Upstairs across the first and second floors are the bedrooms and bathrooms. One of the main reasons we chose this home was the fantastic room sizes – our children never had to argue over who got the biggest bedroom. The ensuite provides a private retreat (and a ‘no kids zone’), making busy mornings so much easier, while the family bathroom is ideal for unwinding with a long soak at the end of the day. Externally, there is off-street parking as well as an electric vehicle charger installed on the detached garage. We use the garage for storage, though many neighbours have converted theirs into a gym or home office. The garden is wonderfully private and a real sun trap, where we’ve enjoyed many barbecues, family gatherings, and summer evenings.
Ricky’s Perspective - Within a short walk woods and open green spaces can be found, these are enjoyed by may dog walkers and are beautiful all year round, whether it's the bluebells in the spring to gaze upon or the frost off the branches in the winter. Further woodland is found thereafter at Pryor's Wood, over the years I have spotted many of muntjacs, squirrels and other wildlife. Great Ashby District Park is enjoyed by many runners and families, my lot have enjoyed days out down here where we've had picnics and played a game of rounders. Local shops are incredibly handy for last-minute ingredients or everyday essentials. The local takeaways are heaving most evenings—the Chinese and fish & chip shop are both excellent, and Pivora Grill is a local favourite. In the warmer months, you can enjoy scenic walks across the fields to the nearby village of Weston, where you’ll find pubs like The Cricketers, serving up great pints, Sunday roasts, and stone-baked pizzas. For families, round diamond school is Ofsted-rated Outstanding and even closer than the shops. There’s also Busy Bees Nursery, which comes highly recommended by local parents. The home itself spreads across three generous floors, this home is wonderfully suited to blended or growing families, offering everyone their own sense of space and privacy. Whether you need quiet retreats or shared gathering spots, this layout adapts beautifully to your lifestyle. All four bedrooms can comfortably house double beds, whilst handy storage is cleverly integrated throughout the home, including landing cupboards, built in wardrobes and a large loft—offering ample room to keep everything from stuff you don't want on show to holiday decorations neatly tucked away.
