If you lived here...
Thanks to the thoughtful restoration, you can enjoy your new home from the day you move in. The decor is spotless and the period features such as the fireplace alcove and original flooring sit beautifully alongside extra touches including the bespoke carpentry and shutters.
At the front, the reception room is bright and packed with charm. At the rear the adjoining kitchen/diner is just as special, and you’ll love the modern style and ample storage.
Head back inside to your smartly finished hallway and staircase, up to the first floor, where you’ll find two smart bedrooms and an artfully designed family bathroom. Up to the loft you’ll find your master bedroom, with plenty of storage, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite. Don’t forget you have a WC on the ground floor too, perfect for guests.
Outside, Lloyd Park's landscaped gardens, cafes and tennis courts are 0.5 miles on foot, while the fantastic Walthamstow Wetlands is only slightly further.
Just two mins away you’ll find authentic eatery the Italian Bakery - perfect for takeout. A few minutes further, you’ve got independent wine shop and bar Forest Wines, which specialises in organic, biodynamic and natural wines. Five minutes beyond that, you’ve even got an original Banksy, preserved within the Bonners fish and chip shop signage. A similar distance, you’ve got foodie favourite restaurant SlowBurn, while the UK’s first dedicated brandy house, Burnt Faith, is even closer. There will soon be community saunas in this area, too. Then there’s the Blackhorse Road Beer Mile beyond that. You’ll never be bored, let’s put it that way.
What else?
-It’s a 12 minute walk to Blackhorse Road station, where the Victoria line will get you straight to Kings Cross in around 15 mins, or hop on the Suffragette Overground Line, which zips between Gospel Oak and Barking. Buses are plentiful too. You also have the option of strolling slightly further to St James Street or Walthamstow Central for the Weaver Overground route to London Liverpool Street. The location is great for cycling commuting too, with quick and easy access to central and east London.
- You’ll also benefit from being just 0.7 miles from the newly opened Soho Theatre Walthamstow — a major cultural landmark brought to life with a £30 million investment as part of the council’s London Borough of Culture 2019 initiative to put arts and culture at the heart of the community.
-Head to Walthamstow Central for Europe’s longest market which runs along Walthamstow High Street, as well 17&Central shopping centre and Forest Cinemas.

A word from the owners...
"This is a superb property and we are genuinely sad to be leaving. It’s an ideal location, perfectly situated to benefit from two underground stations and three overground train stations. We have been spoilt for choice. We’re a stones throw from the beautiful Lloyd Park and the famous William Morris gallery, we’ve got local breweries on our doorstop along Blackhorse Lane, we’re a few minutes walk from the wonderful Soho theatre and not far from the wonderful Walthamstow Village. Not to mention the plethora of bars, cafes and restaurants, literally on our doorstop. If you’re thinking about schools we’re lucky to have great schools nearby. The local primary school has been excellent. Basically we have been extremely fortunate to have everything we need. We’re lucky to have great neighbours who have helped us in lots of different ways over the years. The real strength of the area and what we love is the richness of diversity - from background, food, events and culture."
