Location

Bordered by The Hanningfields offering some lovely county walks, Rettendon Common is around 2.5 miles from South Woodham Ferrers, 4 miles from Wickford with its station servicing London Liverpool Street in around 40 minutes, whilst the vibrant Chelmsford city is about 7.5 miles away, from which you can catch a train to Stratford or Liverpool Street in around half an hour.

Rettendon Primary School is about a mile away, with further primary schools being within 2 miles, whilst secondary schooling can be found in either Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers or Chelmsford. There are a number of local restaurants, including the Rettendon Bell which is just over the road.

Overview of accommodation

The house is accessed via the Entrance Hall from which you'll find the front facing Living Room to your right, stairs in front of you with door to the Breakfast Room just beyond, and ground floor Toilet to the left. The Breakfast Room has a large arch flowing into the Kitchen and doors to the Utility Room and Dining Room, although this space is versatile and so the Breakfast Room could easily be used as the dining area, with the Dining Room being able to be used as a secondary reception room/space for the children. The Kitchen looks out over the rear garden and has a range of matching wall and base units with worktops over and fitted oven, hob with extractor, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The Utility Room has space for a washing machine and freezer and a door leading out to the Rear Garden.

On the first floor, all three Bedrooms are good sized doubles with built in wardrobes and storage. The Shower Room has a large walk in shower, toilet and washbasin. Due to the size of this room there is the potential to remodel and use some of it to make an en-suite for one of the Bedrooms.

The Rear Garden is a really good size, there's a patio area for those summer bbqs and then a large expanse of lawn for the kids to run around till they drop which backs onto fields providing green views as far as you can see. A side gate means you can bring things in and out of the garden without going through the house, and the oil fired boiler is located down this side passage.

Parking for a number of cars is available on the drive way to the front and there is also a garage.
