An exceptionally spacious modern house enjoying glorious countryside views.

Description
Hunters View is a spacious modern village house, built to a high specification in around 2010. The pleasing elevations are of brick and wood weatherboarding under a tiled roof. Particular features include oil fired central heating which is underfloor to the majority of the ground floor, double glazed windows, polished Purbeck stone flooring to principal ground floor rooms, and extensive use of quality oak joinery including the staircase and internal doors.

The accommodation is versatile and could be arranged to suit a wide variety of purchaser’s needs. It includes a generous open plan kitchen/breakfast/ family room with island unit and Aga, a choice of two main bedroom suites each with dressing room and shower room, a self-contained one bedroom annexe on the ground floor, and a useful studio or home office with cloakroom above the double garage. As the name suggests, most rooms in the house enjoy panoramic far reaching views across the beautiful countryside of the Blackmore Vale.

An oak framed porch and front door open into the double height reception hall and guest cloakroom. The sitting room features a handsome stone fireplace with log burner, and along with the adjoining dining room, enjoys views over the garden. The study gives access to the annexe, which also has external access. The superb open plan kitchen/ breakfast/ living room has bifold doors opening on to the terrace and enjoys superb views. The kitchen is beautifully fitted with a custom made range of units in oak with contrasting granite tops, including a large central island, a four oven oil fired Aga with two oven electric module, and integrated dishwasher and fridge freezer. The good size utility/ boot room is fitted with a Belfast sink and range of units, the oil fired boiler, and a door to the garden. Leading off is a second cloakroom.

A feature oak staircase leads up to the galleried landing. The excellent main suite includes a good size bedroom with dormer and Velux windows, a large dressing room and an en suite shower room. The guest bedroom has previously been used as the main suite and has built in wardrobes, a walk in dressing room, and an en suite shower room. There are three further double bedrooms, one with a basin, and the family bathroom which has a bath, separate shower, basin, bidet and WC.

On the ground floor, approached externally or from the study is an excellent self-contained annexe, which would be ideal for guests or family use, or potentially to provide a useful income. This includes a fitted kitchen/ sitting room, a delightful garden room with windows on three sides, an inner hall, bedroom and bathroom.

Outside
The house is approached through a five bar gate leading into an extensive driveway providing parking for numerous cars and space for a motorhome. There is a detached Double Garage built in keeping with the house, having a log store at the rear. A staircase leads up to a Studio/ Home Office with sink unit and cloakroom. French doors open onto a decked terrace and the rear garden. The gardens lie on all sides of the house and extend to about two thirds of an acre. They are mainly lawned with a variety of shrubs and trees, and include a small orchard with fruit trees. There is a paved terrace at the rear enjoying lovely open views and perfect for summer entertaining.
