Thatch Cottage is a delightful Grade II Listed Devon home full of character, located in the ever-popular village of Chillington.
Upon entering, the cottage immediately reveals its charm with beautiful stone flooring, exposed beams, and a characterful fireplace with wooden lintel. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, bathroom, and a versatile reception room with direct access to the rear garden.
Stairs rise to the first floor where there are two well-proportioned bedrooms.
Outside, the property benefits from a generous garden, which enjoys sun for most of the day. This outdoor space offers plenty of room for dining al fresco or entertaining, and includes a useful garden shed for storage.
The property is in need of full renovation, offering an excellent opportunity for buyers to create a home to their own taste and requirements.
Chillington is a well-placed village along the A379 between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The village offers a good range of amenities including a shop and post office, health centre, village hall, and a popular public house, as well as several bus stops. It lies within a five-minute drive of the stunning two-mile stretch of beach at Torcross, and only a short drive from the market town of Kingsbridge.
