Outside
The enclosed rear garden is of a good size in our opinion and has a patio area from the house which is currently covered with a catio (this could be removed), there is a gravelled section with raised beds for growing vegetables and a rear raised deck area for further outside dining. There is also a shed at the rear of the garden and one closer to the house. A side gate provides access to the front. Outside tap, coal bunker/store.
The front of the property is gravelled to provide parking for two vehicles although there is currently no dropped kerb.
The property is situated just under half a mile from the centre of Melksham and its many facilities including a leisure centre with swimming pool, fitness centre and library. There are a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. King George V park with its revamped children's playground, splashpad, cafe and dog run is a further 10 minutes walk away.
There are a range of primary schools in the area, the closest to the house being Aloeric School just under half a mile away or an approximate 10 minute walk. Melksham Oak Secondary school is a mile away.
Sports facilities in the area include football, rugby and cricket clubs along with water activities being offered on the river. Melksham also has great provision for other clubs including dance, gymnastics and martial arts. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides also have groups in the town.
The towns of Calne, Corsham, Trowbridge and Chippenham are a short distance away, with Chippenham having mainline rail services into London in around an hour. Melksham also has its own train station, sitting on the Swindon to Westbury line which passes through Trowbridge and Chippenham.
