We moved to Ludgershall in 1999 with a young family, looking for better schooling for our children and the rural lifestyle. We found both of those and much more. We love the village life and community of Ludgershall, while having the convenience of Bicester and Thame close by. It is a peaceful, yet friendly, well connected area that enjoys the quiet charm of the countryside, with a community that has always felt special. The neighbours are helpful and respectful, it’s the kind of place where people look out for one another without being intrusive.

Over the past 26 years, this house has become a well-loved and well-used family home. It’s seen our children grow up, move away, but they still love to come home, and so do the grandchildren. It has adapted to our changing needs along the way, and we’ve put a lot of loving time and effort into improving it-both inside and out.

It is certainly our happy place and although we’ll miss it dearly, it’s time for us to move closer to our grandchildren and be part of their everyday lives as they grow up. We leave behind a place that has given us so much joy and made so many happy memories, we hope it does the same for you.
