Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman
Hidden away on a tranquil, little-known cul-de-sac called Church Court, this attractive detached house in Ashton Hayes offers a rare opportunity to acquire a home in a very appealing location. Central to the village and just a short stroll from the church and school, this property is also a short walk from the village shop and recently reopened pub restaurant The Golden Lion.
Properties in this road seldom come onto the market, with only three sales recorded in the past twenty one years. This quiet stability speaks volumes about what a fantastic place this is to live and added to this is the fact there are no detached houses in the village presently available to buy in the £400,000 to £500,000 price range.
There are numerous features of merit, including a private, south-facing garden, off-road parking, and a garage. The front door opens into a hall that leads to the main reception area, an open-plan living and dining room. This is a light and spacious room with double patio doors that open onto and overlook the rear garden. Adjacent to this is the kitchen, which has been refitted in recent years with an attractive range of units. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a useful utility room and cloakroom.
