About this property
One Bedroom Apartment
Victorian Conversion
Beautifully Renovated
Moments Away from Homerton Station
Short Walk to Victoria Park
Potential to Extend STPP
A bright and beautifully finished one-bedroom Victorian conversion, set on the first floor of a handsome period home, perfectly positioned between Chatsworth Road, Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes, and just moments from Homerton station. Here you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds - vibrant bars and independent eateries on one side, and vast green spaces on the other. At home, highlights include the light-filled reception, spacious kitchen/diner, and the exciting potential to extend (STPP).
If you lived here....
Behind the handsome facade lies a home that strikes a perfect balance between tradition and contemporary design. In the reception room, spotless decor, bespoke shelving and a statement fireplace are all beautifully illuminated by classic sash windows.
Next door, the bedroom is just as spotless, with more considered details and the added benefit of a south-facing window.
The kitchen/diner is a particularly charming space, with sky blue units, metro tiling and integrated appliances, plus enough room for a dining table. The bathroom continues the theme of timeless design meeting modern convenience, with striking black fittings and full-height tiling.
And with scope to extend, you’ll have the reassuring potential to shape and expand your home as life evolves.
Location-wise, you’re in the thick of it. Just around the corner, Chatsworth Road buzzes with cafés, markets, and independent shops that attract visitors from all over London. Catch a film at the much-loved Castle Cinema (and maybe a drink at the bar while you’re there), or pop next door to the Hackney branch of cult grocer Eat 17. Just beyond, Lower Clapton Road offers even more, from the dumpling favourites at My Neighbours the Dumplings to the acclaimed Hai Café. This corner of East London is full of charm, and new gems are always appearing, so there’s always something fresh to discover.
What else?
- Despite all the urban buzz, this area has a surprisingly large amount of green space. As well as Hackney Marshes, Victoria Park is accessible on foot, and home to some internationally renowned festivals including All Points East Festival and lido Festival.
- Transport is plentiful in this area with some excellent bus routes nearby, as well as Homerton station, which is served by the Overground route, where you can easily access the tube at Stratford or Highbury and Islington.
- You’ve got a brilliant choice of local takeouts, but surely unpacking calls for a delivery from YardSale Pizza - one of our favourites.

A word from the owner...
"I love the traditional charm of the flat. It feels like a sanctuary whilst being right in the hustle and bustle of Hackney. I have enjoyed decorating the flat over the years, in particular the kitchen/dining area which has played host to many dinner parties. The living room has a wonderfully cosy feel and is big enough to serve as a whf space as required. The area is fabulous and the flat is walking distance to Victoria Park, Chatsworth Road and Hackney Wick and I really enjoy the mix of bars, restaurants and shops that can be found around here. The flat and surrounding area make this a lovely place to live"
