Ruth Conlon is delighted to present this unique and character-filled two-bedroom cottage, nestled on the ever popular Watersplash Road in Shepperton.
Full of warmth and personality, this cosy home offers an open-plan layout that brings together the lounge, dining area, and kitchen - creating a comfortable, easy-going space that suits both daily living and relaxed entertaining. The back of the property has been extended to offer a utility space to accommodate for modern living. The rear of the property opens out via an adorable stable door to a lovely easy to maintain garden, complete with a charming summer house which has power - ideal as a home office, art or creative space, or simply a quiet place to unwind.
Upstairs a master bedroom and a second bedroom leading through to the bathroom. Both bedrooms offer inbuilt storage. Also to the first floor, access to the loft which is boarded with a pull-down ladder.
Perfectly positioned, this cottage is perfect those wanting to be surrounded by nice walks and a decent local pub. Just at the top of the street is a selection of convenience stores, take-aways, and a bakery. Also, a short stroll away is Shepperton village itself where you'll find local shops, cafés, and all the essentials as well as Shepperton mainline train station offering direct trains into London Waterloo.
This is a rare opportunity to own a home that’s full of charm, in a friendly village setting with excellent connections.
What does the current owner love?
Living so close to nice walks is ideal for the current owner and her dog. The exciting redevelopment of Shepperton Studios has also brought a new Studios Walk trail and the cottage itself has been a cosy and lovely place to live.
What do I love?
This home is full of character, and I have to say - i’m particularly fond of the stable door that opens out onto the garden. Perhaps i’m a little biased, having grown up on this very street, but I can genuinely say it’s a wonderful place to live. From feeding the ducks at the Watersplash just down the road, to riding my bike around the neighbouring quiet roads, it holds some truly special memories
