We absolutely love living in this bright and peaceful home! Sunlight streams through the windows, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. The spacious kitchen and dining area has been the perfect space for hosting our friends for meals, while the garden has enabled daily football practice and growing a bounty of vegetables. We have so many happy memories here!
We moved in on the same day as many other families in Maybank, when the road first opened, which was the foundation of a truly welcoming and close-knit neighbourhood. We love how all the kids often play together in the quiet cul-de-sac, with space to learn to ride bikes and enjoy the annual Maybank street BBQ. Though the highlight of the year is the Maybank Christmas Light switch on, which brings the community together, and it’s especially fun to see our friends’ faces when they step out into the magical lit-up street in the evening! The sense of kindness, generosity, and support among neighbours is something really special.
The location is brilliant as it's a super short walk to Lidl, multiple parks and beautiful walks. There are excellent local schools which are highly regarded and popular with families in the area. Our children got in easily, and we’ve been so impressed by the nurturing environment and quality of education. With multiple short routes to the M4, commuting is a breeze, and we enjoy activities in both Reading and Wokingham.
This home has given us so much joy, and we know it will offer the same to its next owners. If you’re looking for a peaceful, connected, and community-rich place to call home, Maybank is it.

This is a perfect home for first time buyers or young families, not only is the location great but this home is a brilliant layout. The Yarkhill design just keeps on giving, as soon as you walk in you get an idea of the space and brilliant layout; with downstairs w.c and generous entrance hall, with a bay fronted lounge giving a cozy & snug, yet airy feel. Our favourite part has to be the kitchen/dining room, spanning the whole back of the house, and opening straight into the garden. It's perfect for entertaining and we can imagine some epic summer BBQs going down here! On top of that, there's a utility area tucked away off the kitchen, and the driveway comfortably fits two cars. Upstairs offers three spacious bedrooms with the main bedroom further benefiting from fitted wardrobes and a big en-suite shower room. Both bathrooms have windows in, which isn't always a guarantee in semi-detached homes, and there's plenty of storage on the landing too.
The house is absolutely immaculate and we're sure you're going to love it as much as we (and the owners!) do.

Shinfield Meadows is a lovely location, and Maybank is arguably one of the most sought after roads thanks to the legendary street parties and the epic Christmas lights display for charity each year. It's very central to all your needs and wants... Literally, just a few minutes walk you will find the popular Langley Mead nature reserve, which is great for walks and you also have various play parks close by. Within a short walk or drive you have plenty of amenities including Dobbies Garden Centre which now has a small Waitrose, along with a great butchers and within Shinfield Village you have Co-Op a few popular pubs, a post office and the new Lidl store coming soon. There are main bus routes close by taking you into Reading or Wokingham towns and you are just a few minutes from Mereoak Park and Ride or junction 11 of the M4, not forgetting the new train link coming into Green Park Business Park, making it a really well connected location.
