About this property
"We've absolutely loved living in our flat - it’s been a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Our favorite feature is the bay window with its lovely view that makes it feel like we’re miles from the city centre. The location is perfect: We can walk to Clifton for a morning coffee or head to Gloucester Road in the evening for live music. What we’ll miss most is the welcoming neighborhood - the sense of community here has truly made it feel like home."
The home
A spacious first floor conversion in a super cool gothic style Victorian building. The enormous bay window in the open plan living area bathes the room in natural light as well as providing a fab seating area. It's a wonderful space with high ceilings and a chic and homely vibe. The newly finished bathroom is super cool with a wet room style rainfall shower, marble and wood vanity unit an on trend colour palate. Both bedrooms are an excellent size, broadening the market to sharers as well as couples. A fab flat with an interesting feel that sets it apart from the norm and makes it something a bit special.
Living in Cotham
Cotham is one of the most popular, prettiest areas of North Bristol with many tree-lined roads, parks and green spaces, perfect for summer days. The area is highly convenient being placed in between several hugely popular parts of Bristol. To the north is Westbury Park and the green expanse of The Downs, a short walk up Redland Road. Up the road there are a number of independent shops and cafes on Cotham Hill along with the larger establishments of Whiteladies Road and Clifton.
To the south is Bristol City Centre, around a 15 minute walk or a short cycle. To the east is Gloucester Road, running through the popular areas of St Andrews, Bishopston and down into Montpelier, lined with hugely popular bars, restaurants and shops. The area is very convenient into or out of Bristol, with Redland train station just around the corner and several bus routes running in the immediate area. Perfect for a person or couple who work or commute from the centre.
