Owners Insights:
What do you love about your home?
When we first viewed the property, we had the chance to see a few different apartments in the building but this one instantly stood out. Being on the 20th floor struck the perfect balance, it is high enough to take in the sweeping views of the London skyline from the London Eye across to the City and St Paul’s which are magical when lit up at night, yet still low enough to keep the oxo Tower in sight from the living room, maintaining a real connection to the river. We positioned the dining table overlooking both the river and the oxo Tower, creating a beautiful spot to host friends and family. New Year’s Eve is always a highlight as we can watch the fireworks from the comfort of the apartment, or from the roof terrace. Sunsets are always very special from the Westerly view.
The apartment itself is really bright and offers a practical layout with two generously sized double bedrooms which are on opposite sides of the apartment so you can maintain your own privacy when friends or family stay over. There is also a perfect space to have a home office from the winter garden. We will be sad to leave the building, the concierge are very welcoming and helpful and provide great security which was important to us. The facilities are truly amazing and very well maintained. The gym has just been upgraded and the swimming pool has undergone a complete refurbishment. The business lounge is priceless as we both work from home regularly and it allows us both to have two separate work areas.
What do you love about the area?
We’ve absolutely loved living here in the heart of London. From morning walks to Borough Market for fresh coffee, to evenings strolls along the Southbank, the location just can’t be beaten. Covent Garden is just a short walk away, and we’ve never gotten tired of being so close to central London.
