This individual character period cottage stands in the very heart of St Marychurch, tucked away and yet easily accessible, within the established Conservation Area and a short level walk to the amenities the location offers. The discrete facade hides a deceptive interior with two reception rooms and a study area complemented by two bedrooms to the first floor, one of which benefits from a cloakroom en-suite. A particular attribute is the delightful, enclosed south westerly facing courtyard garden, which is bathed in sunshine and enjoys a versatile garden room/home office. The property also provides valuable off-road parking.
The convenient location is a mere saunter to the vibrant pedestrianised shopping precinct with wide choice of shops and eateries, and the scenic Babbacombe Downs with shingle beaches below equally accessible. Medical centres, dentist practice, a selection of bus services and numerous leisure and sports clubs are close at hand, with Babbacombe Corinthian Sailing Club at the base of the precinct, and Torquay Golf Club virtually a tee shot away.

Owners Insight
"Such a great location for the Babbacombe Downs and the shops and cafes in St Marychurch which are all on the level, so no car needed.
Our characterful cottage has lots of living space with a handy summer house for an extra place to relax or work. The log burner makes for cosy winter evenings and the sunny south facing garden is an easy to maintain hidden gem and has enough space to host small gatherings and enjoy the weather. Neighbours are friendly and St Marychurch has a community feel. The downstairs bathroom is a great contingency plan for any foreseen circumstances or later life.
We have made the house extra secure with a lockable gate and outside cupboard for recycling and parcels and have a handy off-road parking space with on road parking for visitors.
We have loved living here but it’s time for us to move on and enjoy some new adventures!"
