Owners Comments...
Tabby Drive has been our home for the last 12 years, we moved in when the house was built in 2013 when our children were 1 and 2 years old.
During that time we have made so many happy memories that we will treasure forever. We have enjoyed bringing our children up here as it’s so quiet and peaceful. Over the years we’ve soaked up the sun, splashed around in the paddling pool and hosted Summer bbqs with family in the back garden. We’ve also enjoyed bike rides and walks in the woods nearby.
Our neighbours are who we will miss the most, they are lovely people and I question if you can find better. They are so helpful from taking in a parcel when we’re not at home, feeding our pets to simply having a chat and a catch up.
The house has 3 good sized bedrooms 2 of the 3 have built in wardrobes. There is a large living room at the back of the house with access to the garden and a kitchen dinner to the front of the house.
With this property you have 2 parking spaces which are located outside the house to the front and side. Also the house comes with side access to the garden.
Budgens is also a big plus point it’s so handy to have on your doorstep and we will miss having a shop in walking distance.
Also locally you have the swan pub, the farriers and the post office in the village.
Being located where we are you have great access to the m4 and really are in the middle of everything you need.
All in all, we know that the new owners of Tabby Drive will make as many happy memories as we have! We will really miss Tabby Drive but as our children are now teenagers the time has come for us to move on.

This spacious 3-bedroom semi-detached family home is tucked away in a quiet spot and comes with the rare bonus of 2 parking spaces!
Inside, the house is absolutely massive; seriously, the rooms are way bigger than you'd expect. There's a large entrance hall, a kitchen at the front, and a wide lounge at the back that opens straight out to a southerly-facing garden. There’s also handy side access that loops back around to the front, great for bikes, bins, or just not traipsing muddy shoes through the house!
Upstairs, you’ll find two really generous double bedrooms, plus a third room with built-in storage that makes a perfect office, nursery, or single bedroom. There’s also a lovely large family bathroom.
Yes, it could do with a bit of cosmetic updating, but that’s the fun part, it's a great chance to put your own stamp on it and make it yours.
All in all, it’s an absolute steal for a 3 bed in this location; tons of space, loads of potential, and ready for its next chapter.
Area Comments...
Just three miles south of Reading, Three Mile Cross is a small, semi-rural village with loads of character. It’s tucked just off the old Basingstoke Road and ideally positioned for commuters, with Junction 11 of the M4 only minutes away and the A33 running right through. You’ll find a few handy local spots nearby, including a Budgens convenience store and the Swan Pub, both just a short stroll from the property. For more options, Shinfield and Lower Earley are close by with plenty of shops, restaurants, and pubs to choose from.
Need to go bigger? Head to Wokingham for market-town charm or hit Reading’s Oracle Centre for serious shopping. Commuting’s easy too - with the Mereoak Park & Ride and the new Green Park train station just down the road, you’re well connected whether you're heading into Reading or all the way into London.
