The deed land plan (which can be seen within the brochure or can be emailed upon request) clearly shows a right of access at this point along the footpath - but the bridge/access over the river at this point has long since disappeared. There is currently no easy access to Elldown Woods and if you wanted to visit, this would be entirely at your own risk.
Directions
From Stibb, proceed down the hill towards Coombe Valley. Go over the bridge and turn right and drive through the ford. As you drive around the corner and up the hill, there is a small layby you can park in, as the entrance to the footpath is very close by.
