Owners’ Insights
What do you love most about your home?
We’ve always loved the incredible sense of space and natural light. The dual-aspect living area is flooded with sunlight from dawn to dusk, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere, with the bonus of rooftop views across London. The split-level layout also provides a real sense of privacy, ideal when working from home. Living within a gated mews has felt wonderfully safe and secure, with CCTV and a close-knit sense of community among the neighbours.
Why are you selling?
We are leaving here with a heavy heart as we have loved the apartment and the lifestyle that goes with living on Newington Green but we need to move closer to our children and grandchildren.
What do you love about the area?
We’ve loved living in this area for so many reasons. It’s brilliantly connected to the overground, tube and various bus routes within a few minutes’ walk from the apartment. Newington Green is like a village within a city, very much a sense of community spirit whilst becoming a destination spot for foodies and wine buffs alike. We have the most amazing selection of specialist shops, deli’s, restaurants, coffee shops and bars offering amazing authentic produce and delicacies. The Mildmay Pub is our local which offers great food and wine. For a quick escape into greenery, there’s even a secret little park just around the corner, tucked behind St Paul’s Place, called The Shrubbery - perfect for a lunchtime dog walk, if you feel like a stretching your legs a little further, Clissold Park is also close by.
