"We’ve absolutely loved living in our Harbourside home in Baltic Wharf for the past six years. It’s a peaceful, friendly neighbourhood with the rare bonus of a garden and off-street parking, all just a short stroll from Wapping Wharf, Ashton Court, and the city centre. We’ve cherished morning walks, coffee at local favourites like Emmeline and Coffee Club, and sunny evenings at The Cottage Inn. Living here has been a true privilege - our next home has a lot to live up to."
The Home
A semi-detached home split over three levels in the heart of Baltic Wharf development. On the ground floor, you’ll find the newly renovated downstairs WC, a kitchen fitted with integrated appliances, with a connected dining space that has outside door opening to a private courtyard garden.
On the first floor, is the main bathroom which is also recently renovated which features floor tiling in a mosaic style, with white subway wall tiles alongside a bath and shower combo. Next door is the spacious living room with a double door Juliet balcony and two additional windows, letting plenty of light flood into the space and offering great views of the garden.
The second floor offers two bedrooms, with the main bedroom comfortably fitting a king-sized bed, additional storage and decorated with contemporary panelling. The second bedroom offers flexibility as a double room, now turned nursery.
In 2019 the home saw the removal of storage heaters and replaced with electric throughout in addition to all new windows on the first and second floor plus a new front door.
The property comes with a driveway for off-street parking right outside the front door and the ability to use visitor passes and permits for additional parking.
The Outside
Outside, you’ll find a landscaped, low-maintenance courtyard garden full of mature plants and shrubs. The decking at the back of the garden was added in 2020 offering a perfect spot for entertaining friends or relaxing during the hotter months.
Living in Baltic Wharf
Baltic Wharf is a quiet and community focused development with excellent access to all that Bristol offers, while being surround by some of Bristol’s most historic sites. Arguably the most famous attraction in the city, the S.S Great Britain, is harboured next to the Bristol Marina, which is in addition to a variety of art exhibitions and museums nearby, including the iconic M Shed. Just a short walk away is Wapping Wharf, one of Bristol’s most popular spots for eating and drinking with favourites such as Seven Lucky Gods, Root and ragu. The area was built on Bristol’s harbourside area, across the water from the busier city centre. Across the river to the south of the City Centre is the Southville and Bedminster area, which offers a range of popular eateries, bars and shops.
For commuters, the area is ideal with several major employers just on the doorstep at the Harbourside along with several major law firms around Redcliffe and Temple Quay and other industries around the centre of Bristol and up into Clifton.
Access out of the city is also straightforward, with buses running frequently along Cumberland Road to Bristol Airport and the nearby A4 and M32 providing access to the M5 and M4 respectively.
For those looking for quiet walks, there are easy routes around the Harbourside, but the nearby Ashton Court and Greville Smyth Park also provide expansive green space for running or dog walking.
