Description
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a fine hardwood site which needs taking in hand although was under management until Covid. There are number of areas that have been re-planted with Lot 2 having a lake with a small stream flowing to the east through Lot 3.
Most of Lot 1 is a Special Wildlife Site and a list of species is available on request.
The woodland has great amenity and conservation appeal.

Lot 1 15.91 Ha (39.30 Acres)
Blackmore and Common Woods form the major part of the woodland offering a mixed age of oak and deciduous trees together with hard area plantation. This has two accesses one over the Three Counties Showground Woodland and one from Common Farm being the main one currently used.
Lot 2 6.26 Ha (15.47 Acres)
Lower and Upper Arles Wood is a similar woodland having an attractive amenity lake with a stream flowing through to the east, access is off the main road by the Oak Mere Park.
N.B. The adjoining young plantation is owned by the neighbour and is not included in the sale
Lot 3 5.67 Ha (14.01 Acres)
This is an elongated area of mature deciduous woodland neglected a little of late with the rides not fully open. It does benefit from a small stream running partly through making it an attractive amenity area as well as an attractive woodland.
