This house isn't just a building; it's the cornerstone of our family's memories, the place where our two young boys truly grew up. Moving here was the best decision we ever made for our growing family, and the moment you step inside, you understand why. Its layout has adapted perfectly over the years, serving every stage of our young family. The heart of the home has always been the kitchen: A wonderfully social space that's seen it all-from cocktail parties and spontaneous wine o'clocks/ dance-offs, even the rugby ball being thrown around it, to countless homework sessions sprawled across the large counter while dinner cooked away.
The rest of the house has been equally functional and loved. The cosy snug was the essential spot for everything from gaming on the x box and late-night talks/sleepovers, to more recently, it’s also seamlessly transformed into a productive home office.
Beyond the patio doors lies the very large, sun-facing garden. This space is a genuine outdoor sanctuary, perfectly sized and oriented to soak up the best of the day’s light with plenty of space for two seating areas. It has been the legendary venue for countless summer BBQs. It has also hosted children's parties, with the lawn witnessing everything from bouncy castles, cricket, football and rugby games to triumphant water-gun battles.
Upstairs is very roomy with plenty of space for guests to stay overnight or for a larger family to have their own spaces.
The area and our road is that perfect blend of young and old, walking distance to the shops, woods and local schools and so provided the safest, most supportive environment for our boys to thrive. Larger shops and the lake are a short five minute drive away.
As our boys have gotten bigger and our professional lives call us to new places and we hope the next family to live here finds as much happiness, warmth, and community as we have.

We absolutely love this home. Set within a quiet cul-de-sac in Sandhurst, Broom Acres is a beautifully presented five-bedroom detached family home sitting on a generous 0.27-acre plot, perfect for growing families who love both space inside and out.
As you pull onto the driveway, there’s plenty of room for multiple cars and a double garage.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a bright and spacious entrance hall. There’s handy storage and a downstairs WC too. To the left, you’ll find a large lounge with a bay window and a feature fireplace ideal for cosy evenings in. This flows perfectly through double doors into the dining room, which comfortably fits a big table for family dinners or entertaining friends. From here, French doors open onto the garden, letting in loads of natural light. The kitchen and breakfast room is a real showstopper - huge, bright, and finished to a high standard with solid worktops, built-in appliances, and a Rangemaster cooker at the heart of it all. There’s space for a big breakfast table, doors onto the garden, and a separate utility room that leads out to the side access and through to the garage (which has power and lighting).
Upstairs, you’ll find five genuine double bedrooms arranged around a split staircase. The master suite is our favourite - with a vaulted ceiling, stunning views over the garden, and a refitted en-suite shower room. The family bathroom has also been tastefully refitted.
Outside, the west-facing garden is private, mature, and perfect for summer evenings. There’s already approved planning permission for a 60m2 outbuilding - designed for a home gym and home office - giving you even more flexibility to make this home work for modern family life.

If you know Sandhurst, you’ll know how well-connected it is while still offering that lovely, peaceful feel. For those who love the outdoors, you’re spoilt for choice. Ambarrow Woods, Horseshoe Lake, and the Wildmoor Heath Nature Reserve are all on your doorstep, offering miles of woodland and heathland walks. For families, the area is home to excellent local schools, including Uplands Primary, St Michael's Primary and the likes of Wellington Prep and the well-renowned Wellington College.
You’ve got great transport links too. The M3 and M4 motorways are both easily accessible, giving quick routes to Reading, Bracknell, Farnborough, and London. Sandhurst and Crowthorne train stations are nearby, with regular services to Guildford, Reading, and Gatwick Airport.
Finally, there are some great pubs and restaurants on the doorstep, including The Bird in Hand, perfect for a Sunday roast or a pint in the garden.
